University of the Pacific is working with Niche, a college search site to provide direct admission letters of acceptance to first-year students nationwide, and 1,300 students accepted the offers in the new process.
Students spent the semester on campus involved in a college-credited course with Pacific's School of Engineering and Computer Science Dean Elizabeth Orwin, creating projects that showcased the program and the University.
A 3.8 million grant was awarded by the National Institutes of Health to fund the Pacific-Stanford program of biomedical research and clinical practice in dentistry.
